In the Summer of 2001, Ernest “Fred G." Sanford established what is known today as Sanford and Sons Sales and Service. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings, from selling and repairing used equipment out of a repurposed barn, the business has transformed into 26 acre property with facilities boasting an inventory of new equipment and implements from the industry’s most highly trusted and sought after product lines, such as Kioti, Woods, Kuhn & Kuhn Knight.

Ernest Sanford
Ernest ”Fred G." Sanford made his start in the agriculture industry some 49 years ago, following his time serving in the United States Army. As a tractor and equipment salesman, Ernest established himself as one the most knowledgeable and trustworthy in the area, and quickly worked his way into a leadership role.
In the Summer of 2001, Ernest would begin to build what is known today as Sanford and Sons Sales and Service, with his lovely wife and three sons. Ernest past away in 2022, but Ernie and the other sons, along with the help of their great staff, are continuing his legacy of servicing the community every way possible.

Today, Sanford and Sons is growing year-by-year and is proud to play a large role in our community, being active in our local churches and public schools. Ernest and his two oldest sons, Brent and Ernie, are deacons of their respective churches, while the youngest, Wes, is a teacher and baseball coach at Warren East High School, where Ernie’s wife teaches biology.
